Visual Basic spaces and more events

We’ve been running out Python and Cybersecurity sessions for a couple of weeks now and it’s shaping up to be a great course. The class has engaged well, and the 2-hour sessions are proving to be extremely productive. We’ve also decided to start a new class, running between 3:00pm and 4:00pm every Saturday, looking to introduce people to Visual Basic. This had been announced to our CoderDojo community last week (so sign up to CoderDojo if you want advance warning), but we now have 2 empty spaces as we had to remove some students who were still a bit too young for the class. So, if you’re older than 12 and would like to learn Visual Basic, please head to CoderDojo and sign up here:

In other news, the first session of the Isle of Man Tech Club is being held on the 11th February and aims to provide an introduction to Docker and Kubernetes. This will be held at Barclays Eagle Lab in Douglas and you can sign up for this free event here:

We have more exciting things planned for this month, so keep an eye out for more news 🙂
