Scratch, starting HTML and Java delay – and some cybersecurity too!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the rest of the Java course has been pushed to 4th June. We’ll be continuing the Java lessons in the Code Bus, but more about that when we get there. In the meantime, we’re planning to start a new HTML/CSS class on Saturday 28th May. We have some interested people on the waiting list, but still space for anyone who wants to join us. If you do, please drop me an email at owen@codeclub.im.

This Saturday, we’ll use the first hour in the lecture room to run some cybersecurity training. It will be a fun session, with challenges drawn from the OverTheWire Wargames collection. If you fancy trying your hand at hacking, or want come and show off your skillz, come and join us between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. At 5:00pm we’ll be continuing our Scratch series, with our ChatBot project.

Besides this, we’ll have Lego Minstorms, 3D printing, Code Bugs, VR headsets and all sorts of our tech stuff to play with. Come join us, see what you can learn or share!
